- Well, any controller which can read/write whole MFM tracks is capable of doing
- it. The floppy controllers used in Sun Workstations can do this, for example,
- but AFAIK, there is no software available for SunOS/Solaris which will decode
- the tracks properly.
-
- PC floppy disk controllers, in general, read and write single sectors, and so
- cannot handle AmigaOS format disks, which do not have gaps between sectors.
-
- The original poster's only real option is to track down a local Amiga user and
- ask him/her to transfer the files onto MSDOS disks. Given that there are
- supposed to be approx. 2 million Amiga owners in the world, how far away can
- the nearest one be ;)
