  26. Well, any controller which can read/write whole MFM tracks is capable of doing
  27. it. The floppy controllers used in Sun Workstations can do this, for example,
  28. but AFAIK, there is no software available for SunOS/Solaris which will decode
  29. the tracks properly.

  31. PC floppy disk controllers, in general, read and write single sectors, and so
  32. cannot handle AmigaOS format disks, which do not have gaps between sectors.

  34. The original poster's only real option is to track down a local Amiga user and
  35. ask him/her to transfer the files onto MSDOS disks. Given that there are
  36. supposed to be approx. 2 million Amiga owners in the world, how far away can
  37. the nearest one be ;)
